GENERAL INFORMATION

In light of the current government recommendations to minimise transmission of the coronavirus (Covid-19), Ascott House and Gardens will not be opening this weekend, Saturday 21st and Sunday 22nd March 2020.

We will review the situation on Monday and update our website accordingly.

2020 OPENING TIMES

ASCOTT HOUSE, GARDENS & TEA ROOM

In light of the current government recommendations to minimise transmission of the coronavirus (Covid-19), Ascott House and Tea Room will be closed until further notice.

Ascott Gardens remains open at the times outlined below:

Daily (except Monday) 17th March – 20th September 2020; 12pm – 5pm with last entry at 4pm.

Please Note - Due To Tree Work currently being undertaken access to the Lower Gardens is restricted.

Please check the website for any changes to opening.

ASCOTT SUPPORTS THE NATIONAL GARDENS SCHEME; NATIONAL TRUST MEMBERS WILL BE EXPECTED TO PAY £5.00 FOR ENTRY TO THE GARDENS ON:

Monday 31st August 2020

Vehicular Access

The entrance to Ascott House & Gardens is signposted off the A418; Visitor Entrance for users of satnav the postal code is LU7 0PP.

Registered drivers with disabilities

There are designated spaces for vehicles of registered drivers within the car park.

Accessibility to the house and gardens

There two small steps in the house and there is a ramp available for wheelchair users. If you have restrictions or need any other advice with regard to access to Ascott House & Gardens please contact us prior to your visit.

There are a few steep slopes in the gardens, however many of the paths are level and provide stunning views over the Aylesbury Vale. All visitors using the paths and grounds are asked to take care and wear the appropriate footwear.

Visitor Lavatories

Please note that the toilets are located within the Gate Lodge car park and the Tea Room.

Dogs

Only assistance dogs are permitted within the House and Gardens.
