Celebrate National Dawn Chorus Day

Join expert ornithologists from the British Trust for Ornithology for a special Dawn Chorus Day experience in the Gardens. During this guided session, you’ll learn to identify birds by their calls and songs, explore the behaviour behind the dawn chorus, and gain a deeper understanding of local wildlife.

Whether you’re a seasoned birdwatcher or new to birding, this friendly, relaxed session will help build your confidence, refresh your bird ID skills, and prepare you to take part in future BTO surveys.

Book your event ticket through the BTO website. Participants must also have a valid pre-booked Gardens admission ticket. National Trust members should book a free entry ticket and bring a valid NT membership card; the event fee still applies.
