Accessibility at Ascott

We’re proud to be an accessible National Trust property, and we strive to make everyone feel welcome.

We have a separate car park for Blue Badge holders, and accessible toilets are located near the Gate Lodge car park. There are no toilet facilities in Ascott House or Gardens.

We offer a volunteer-run Visitor Mobility service, subject to availability.  We welcome assistance dogs into the house and gardens.

If you have any questions regarding accessibility at Ascott before your visit, please do not hesitate to contact us.

If you are not a National Trust member, you will still need to pay for your own entry.

If you do not have an Essential Companion Card you can still bring up to 2 carers into Ascott with you free of charge - just look for the 'carers' option on our tickets when booking.

Breastfeeding friendly

Ascott Estate is proud to be part of the #FreeToFeed campaign, supporting breastfeeding mothers while they visit Ascott House and Gardens.

The #FreeToFeed campaign, run by Bedfordshire Community Health Services and Flying Start Luton with support from local authorities, is encouraging businesses to help new mums feel comfortable breastfeeding their children when out and about.
