ILLUSTRATION WORKSHOP WITH JAY NOLAN-LATCHFORD

Watercolor painting of a sunny field with yellow flowers, trees, and four paintbrushes.
Saturday 21 March, 10:30am - 3pm

Step into spring with this creative workshop inspired by Ascott’s golden daffodil display

Did you know Ascott is home to over one million daffodils? Join us for a creative day of drawing and watercolour painting inspired by this stunning spring display.

We’ll begin with a gentle guided walk to take in the fresh colour before learning to capture daffodils in the landscape through sketching and watercolour, focusing on light, colour, and subtle shadow.

After lunch, we’ll explore more detailed spring studies, from emerging leaves to early blossoms.

Led by professional artist and award-winning tutor Jay Nolan-Latchford, this relaxed workshop is suitable for beginners and beyond. If the weather turns, we’ll continue indoors using sketches and reference photos.

£70 per person. Includes Gardens admission, all materials and light refreshments.
