Stargazing Experience: Wonders of the Night Sky

Join Astronomy UK for a family-friendly evening of cosmic discovery and adventure. Begin with an engaging Solar System talk exploring planets, moons, and constellations. After a refreshment break, head outdoors for a stargazing experience using telescopes and binoculars (weather permitting). You may see the Moon, planets (if visible), or deeper-sky objects.
Visitor Information:
- Arrival is from 18:45.
- The event will begin at 19:15.
- Please dress appropriately for the weather, as part of the experience will take place outdoors. Warm clothing and suitable footwear are recommended.
- The event will go ahead in all weather conditions. If stargazing is not possible due to cloud cover, an immersive indoor night-sky presentation will be provided instead.
- Tea and instant coffee will be available during the refreshment break.
- Telescopes and binoculars will be provided for the stargazing session.
- Recommended for ages 12+.
